I founded Blanchard & Company, LLC because I saw too many business owners burdened by the very tools meant to help them grow. Making sure your data survives a hardware failure, designing a network that stays up, securing your physical spaces: technology is complex and it takes time. You started your organization to focus on your work, not to worry about RAID arrays or firewall vulnerabilities.

An unconventional path into IT

I began my career in the arts as a Technical Director and Front of House engineer. In that world the show must go on, and I learned early that reliability is everything. I started learning IT out of necessity to support that creative work, and found that my real passion was the systems behind the scenes.

From Technical Director I moved to Jr. Systems Administrator and then Systems Engineer, learning what it takes to manage enterprise-level environments. My experience includes:

• Security: overseeing a security system of over 400 cameras and hundreds of access-controlled points across multiple campuses, implementing and managing enterprise SIEM and XDR, and managing local and cloud account infrastructure with security best practices.
• Network integrity: designing fault-tolerant networks and robust firewall configurations.
• Infrastructure: managing VoIP, cloud systems and proactive vulnerability scanning.

I've been blessed to work across a wide spectrum of the technology industry. My goal is simple: use that experience to make sure your organization runs effectively, efficiently and, above all, securely.
